Health and Safety Suggestions regarding Fall/Winter Viruses including Covid 19
With Fall upon us we start moving our activities indoors which unfortunately allows viruses to spread a little more quickly.
Most Provincial Mandatory COVID protocols have ended, and we are able to enjoy environments both inside and out with very few restrictions.
However, we would like to remind all members, guests, visitors etc. that in the pursuit of keeping our Club and our Members as safe as possible during the Curling season, we request everyone review the area Health Unit suggestions around how we can help protect club members, ourselves, families and friends.
COVID-19 - Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit
Please follow the above link for more information.
Although the link suggests we are looking at COVID Health suggestions, it is actually referring all seasonal viruses which rear their ugly heads in the Fall through Winter including RSV.
As noted on the Health Unit Site, “We can’t repeat this simple message enough; “Stay home when sick” find a spare if possible and let your Convenor know. What does this mean, and what do you need to know? For information about signs and symptoms, screening tools, isolation, vaccination and treatment options, the Government of Ontario website has all of the information you need.”
We want this to be our best season yet and look forward to everyone doing the right thing by referring to the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit and Provincial suggestions.
Let’s stay healthy and enjoy every minute of the season to come!
